... because of hidden gems


Every city has these wonderful, unknown to many, hidden places. The fun of being a local is to know them, and to be able to proudly present them to visitors. That's what I'm doing right now :)
Hill square, near Park ha-yarkon, is a tiny charming square with a couple of benches, a lot of cats, and a fountain. The square is named after British General Hill, who fought the Ottoman Empire army during the WW I and crossed Ha-yarkon river in 1917 right here, by this small hill.
