For me, the Independence day is the most joyful Israeli holiday. This is not a religious holiday, so the most of the places are open: the stores are working, the public transportation is functioning, and the city looks more alive than ever. The streets are decorated with flags and banners, and even clothes' shops decorate their windows with the clothes in blue and white (Israeli national colors). In Tel Aviv, every holiday is a reason to party, and more so on Independence day. Every balcony, and every rooftop hosts a happy, noisy, cheerful party.This year we celebrated Israel's 62nd Independence day. Happy birthday, country!
